A damning report released by the Glitch City Health Commission warns that Aug-Amph usage rates have more than tripled in the last three years.  The narcotic first became popular in 206X when researchers at the Neo San Fransisco University discovered a substance which causes pain relief in naturals interferes with the neural implants required to drive 8th generation augmentations and beyond, causing euphoria, aggression, heightened heart rate and blood pressure, and if overused can lead to dementia, psychosis, and symptoms resembling NMRS.  After this finding, the drug quickly began being sold on the black market throughout North America and Europe as a party drug.

According to the GCHC, the loss of the White Knights  was the catalyst for almost 10 months of expansion for the Glitch City Drug Cartels. With little oversight, even some pharmacies are accused of having provided the drug to users.  GCHC also warn that if these trends continue, Glitch City could become a haven for the criminal underworld, and violence may be on the rise.

We spoke to Phoenix Corps for a comment on how they plan to handle the situation, but all they said was "We are still discussing our policy internally, and will provide a comment when we have a structured agency to deal with the topic.   However, we absolutely condone the sale of Aug-Amph and are working to crack down on its distribution.
