Greetings, readers of the Augmented Eye!

Today, I’d like to share something really special with all of you: the patch notes for danger/u/’s new and improved backend. Some of the features might not surprise you, but some of them are a little less obvious. For example: the entire backend of danger/u/ now runs on Awoo, a textboard engine running on Ruby! Our admin, prefetcher, had been aching to rewrite it for a long time. With the help of Lain, the new developer at danger/u/, they created the new and improved backend for the site. And that’s not all! What you are seeing right now, is Ruby’s backend in action. Yes! Even Augmented Eye got a fresh new backend! So, I see you’re asking. “What does this mean for us?” Well, there’s tons of new features out there, too many to describe, even! But I’ll try nonetheless. For example: you can now identify OPs of a thread, and see what anon posted what. You can also mention a post, thread, or board by using >>>/new/ for example. You can even click on a post and you can mention it. The navigation bar now has a home button, and is properly laid out now! This is very handy, as you can now easily browse danger/u/ from board to board. And, if you don’t want to check every board: we have /all/ to give you an overview of all currently going on threads. Not only that has been improved, but also posting and replying. The new thread button now makes a nifty textbox and tells you how many characters you have left, on top of sliding down super smoothly. Replying has become much easier as well. You won’t find yourself witnessing danger/u/ gobble up the long comment you worked very hard on. As some of you might have noticed as well: we now have a whole array of Janitors, ready to maintain the boards. They will be cleaning up anything that collides with each board’s rules (viewable at dangeru.us/[board]/rules). General rules will be arriving as well soon-ish. Some of you might also have noticed /test/. This is the testing ground for Awoo. We’ll usually make posts here to check if something is working properly, to test out the API, or just to post something from god-knows-what (like PowerShell). Our developer, Lain, will also post things related to the app here. There’s tons and tons of features available on the totally new and improved danger/u/. You can totally check it out for yourself, and see how it rolls! The team is quite proud of what was achieved in quite little time. | This app so far seems really really cool but half of the time it opens and freezes to a white page and when it does open up when i try to hit the music button i get a glitch screen and everything freezes... but everything else looks super nice!

| Well you can't really access the boards through the app anymore. Not only that, there was also news about a new app that's suppose to come out on the play store to replace the current danger/u/ app. So I was wondering what happened to the boards?
